Avancera operates as an incubator, as a facilitator, and often as a neutral third party to help leaders break from the desire to work as partners, to the operational reality of doing so. Done well, this brings an entirely new scale and scope of opportunity to each partner—and to the populations and programs they serve.
Selected networks of collaborative organizations become Programs of Avancera and may remain for many years, or exit as their own independent entity. Building on the expertise of a distinguished board, specialized staff, and selected business service providers, Avancera works to bring tailored packages of skills and assets useful to each Avancera Program.

Through decades of highly-focused litigation to defend the rights of detained children, the Center For Human Rights and Constitutional Law is the only non-governmental organization permitted to inspect every detention site where children are held and to interview and assess their treatment. Project Reunify builds on that access and experience to restore communication, decision-making rights, and physical contact to families separated at the border—and defend those rights into the future.
The MedSurplus Alliance is redefining best practice for medical donations around the world. Working with a network of Medical Surplus Recovery Organizations and a wide range of other key stakeholders, this collaborative network recovers used equipment and consumable products from healthcare providers and then ensures delivery of appropriate donations to in-country partners in more than 100 developing nations.
